Our payment system Paypal collects repeat payments automatically, but the scope for variation is very limited. In particular, they do not allow us to increase subscription rates on an existing contract. Please see the notes below.

 

I WANT TO UPGRADE MY SUBSCRIPTION

First of all thank you! Customers like you make the hard work all worthwhile. As we have said, Paypal don't allow us to increase the subscription rate. What we do in these circumstances is upgrade you immediately, and cancel your existing future payment contract. We then work out pro-rata how long your existing payment will cover you. For example

Subscription to indices analysis and signals - $150 per month - repeated every 1st of month
You advise us on 10th day of [a 3-day] month that you now required forex analysis and signals ($300 package). It is implemented immediately.

We then calculate how far the existing $150 goes as follows
a. 10 days at $150 per month - $50
b. 10 days at $300 per month  - $100
which takes you to the 20th of the month.

As the existing repeat payment contract is cancelled, we would invite you to resubscribe (at the higher rate) from the 20th and remind you a day before. We could in theory invite you to contract for the 'difference', but this would mean two payments on different days on the month, and further variations would become increasingly complex.

 

I WANT TO CHANGE MY SUBSCRIPTION BUT TAKE THE SAME NUMBER OF PACKAGES (ie THE SAME PRICE)

You might currently take forex signals at $99 per month, but decide you have advanced enough in trading to take our forex analysis instead, and work out your own trades. This is a very common path, we find. There is no variation to your Paypal repeat payment contract. Simply email us, and we will change over the access permissions. It is normally done in minutes. However as a manual process, our Asian customers may have to wait until about 0730GMT when we start work.

 

I WANT TO DOWNGRADE MY SUBSCRIPTION

You might currently take forex and stocks signals, but want to discontinue the forex. Paypal does actually allow you to reduce your payment level, and some people have done this themselves, and we are notified. However, we only see the amount, and do not know what variation is sought. The better way to handle this is to email us, and explain what you want. What we normally do then is reduce the payment level ourselves, and send a one-off refund for mid-month. For example (a non-EU customer, ie no sales tax)

Subscription to stocks and forex signals - $150 per month - repeated 1st of every month
Customer advises on 10th day of [a 30-day] month that they only require indices ($99 package)
We will a. reduce future payments to $99, b. refund 2/3 of the difference, ie (30-10)/30 x $150-$99 = $34

 

I WANT TO TAKE A BREAK FROM MY SUBSCRIPTION

Paypal does allow this, but it resumes the subscription at the same date and is cumbersome in other ways. It is better to cancel and resubscribe later.

 

I WANT TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION COMPLETELY

There are two methods

a. The easiest way is to cancel the repeat payment yourself with Paypal. Log in to your Paypal account, and select the Recurring Payments option. Select the subscription to 'Matrix Markets Ltd' and select 'Cancel'. You don't need to do anything else. We will receive a message from Paypal, and the paid level service will run until when the next payment would be due, but there is no refund. If the cancellation is received within 7 days of your first subscription, we will assume you have decided the service is not for you, and automatically refund your money.

b. email us at admin@matrixtrade.com or use the Contact Form, and tell us you wish to cancel, we will process the Paypal cancellation as above.

After the termination point (immediate for new customer 7-day refunds), the account will be downgraded to 'free member' status but not removed.  Our weekend emails are part of the free service, and will continue to be issued unless you explicitly unsubscribe.

You do not need to explain why you are cancelling. Like many people in this market, we have a product which works for many people, and does not work for some. We do not try and persuade you to stay, nor do we delay or obfuscate on processing the cancellation. You would be surprised at how many people cancel and then return later. We have a certain style. Our signals are limit not stop orders. Our analysis is more Elliott Wave than oscillator driven. Markets change in style, and our work evolves as well.

 

MY SUBSCRIPTION IS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY

First of all, please log out from the 'My Account' section and log in again. From feedback, we have set our system to leave you logged in for up to a month. If that fails, there may be an issue with cookies or your browser cache. Please see the 'Technical Issues section of our Welcome page for details.

 

ROUNDING AND GENERAL POLICY

Also please note that we will process everything in your favour. If there is a delay in upgrading you, we will only charge from the day we do it. However, on downgrading, we would refund from the date of your message. Similarly 'part' of a day will always be calculated in your favour. Regrading to 'free member' is done the day after the subscription has expired. Our policy is to be completely honest with you, and if you leave, we hope you will continue to read our free material, including our social media feeds, and perhaps return to the paid sections one day. In a market where broker advertising pushes up the cost for everyone in the sector, we analysts rely on largely on goodwill ("word of mouth"), whether you are with us or not.
